Inside Hanna Lhoumeaus Parisian apartment Une Fille Un Style Vogue Paris

My name is Hanna Lhoumeau, I'm 21 years old, and I'm of Haitian, Dominican and French origins. I was born in Bordeaux. I've been living in Paris for the past year and a half. For a long time, I saw Paris as a city where people could express themselves and be themselves. I didn't feel like I belonged in Bordeaux. So I wanted to move closer to this city so that I could express myself and actually be free. My first significant shoot was when I posed with two mixed-race models. It struck me because I thought it was meaningful in the development of the black female model. My mood really affects my style, that is, when I'm in a good mood, I dress up, and when I feel a bit lazy, I wear my sweatpants and I want to look like a little boy. I think my favorite pieces are the ones I bought in thrift stores. You just have to look, to dig up and you find things. When I was a little girl, I used to straighten my hair a lot, I dyed my hair blonde, I couldn't accept my Afro hairstyle and one day something clicked. Someone told me that my natural hair looked actually more beautiful. So, little by little, I learned to accept it. I've always followed my heart. I've always followed this kind of instinct, and with my family supporting me a lot, I could get to where I am today.
