Dad Chokes to Death During TacoEating Competition

Eating competitions are hugely popular at sports events and national holidays like the famous Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest every July 4th. Now a taco eating competition in California has turned tragic, after a father of two, Dana Hutchings, apparently chocked to death. Advising they'll be near 3rd base at Grizzlies Stadium. Once he got into the emergency room, staff began to quickly clear his airway of the food that had accumulated, but less than 30 minutes after doing that, he experience complications and he ended up passing away. Deaths during eating competitions are rare, but they do happen. 20-year-old Caitlin Nelson chocked to death in 2017 during a pancake eating competition at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. I just hope that the public pays attention to this incident and knows the consequences that could come. (triumphant music)
